We are delighted to announce our award win at the Educational Resource Awards 2022. Our newly launched Glow and Go Bot was awarded the Early Years Resource or Equipment Award at the prestigious event held on 6th May 2022 in Birmingham.
Award-winning:
The Glow and Go Bot was recognised for its innovative features and ability to support learning outcomes in the early years.
Glow and Go Bot is a multi-sensory, rechargeable robot, ideal for laying firm foundation and technology skills. The highly interactive, engaging robot has simple, clear and literal controls that, when pressed, are tactile, colourful, illuminated and create sounds, enabling the child to make multi-sensory connections. It is aimed at enabling the curious, investigative child to experiment, explore and make discoveries independently.
The resource is developmentally aligned to empower the children to foster key skills and to support a STEAM learning approach that is age appropriate. Not only do they learn about cause and effect but also are able to pursue a plethora of cross-curricular learning opportunities. It is open-ended and versatile.
What are the Education Resource Awards?
The Education Resources Awards (ERA) are organised by Brilliant Marketing Solutions and the British Educational Suppliers Association (BESA). The awards highlight the quality and diversity of educational products and resources, excellent educational establishments and the most dedicated members of the teaching profession and supplier industry.
The ERAs began in 1999 and are now established as one of the premier annual events to celebrate success for suppliers and teaching professionals in the UK education sector.
There were 23 award categories in total, with TTS being shortlisted across two categories: Early Years Resource or Equipment and Primary Resource or Equipment.
Shortlisted products were judged based on the innovative nature of the resource, and cost-effectiveness in terms of educational aims and results. Entrants also had to highlight how the resource supports or enhances the everyday life or work of teachers, pupils, or schools and proof of the impact on learning within the classroom.
Joanne Finnan, Product Director at TTS, said: “We are absolutely delighted to have won this award for our Glow and Go Bot and very thankful to all who nominated us. Children’s learning and development is at the heart of everything we do at TTS, every resource is developed to enhance the learning outcomes of children.
“Receiving such an award is an honour and I know the whole team are now bursting with pride to have won.”
